Nach vier Jahren Release-Pause bringen Jungle die Plate For Ever raus.
"I think we're always working on music. It's just whether the music you are writing at a certain period of time is you feel you wanna share with the public. And you know for us, it's about having real experience and real life and real emotions to write about this record. For us, it's way more autobiographical it's about our lives and love and real stuff." - Josh von Jungle
In der Zeit nach der ersten Platte erlebt Josh eine kalifornische Liebesgeschichte, die ihn ihm die Musik für For Ever entfesselt hat.
"I fell in Love with a girl and she lived in California and I kind of chased that out there and that didn't end particulary well so out of that pain - I suppose - music came." - Josh von Jungle

Heavy California schrieb die Band noch am Anfang ihrer Karriere, im Tourbus auf dem Weg zu Coachella 2015. Als For Ever schon stand, musste sie an den Song denken und fühlten, er würde die Reise des Albums komplett machen.

Der Titel "For Ever" für For Ever war für Jungle ein klischeehafter Scherz. Aber reflektiert auch an romantisierte Vorstellungen von Bindung.
"You know this idea of I'm gonna love you forever and it doesn't really work like that. Everything has to operate on a day to day." - Josh von Jungle
Die Platte ist aufgeteilt "wie eine alte Janet Jackson Platte": Zuerst die schnellen Party Songs und auf der B-Seite dann die emotionalen Balladen. Für Josh sollte der Sound immer ausgespielt sein:
