Nach dem gefeierten zweiten Album Our Two Skins, war die Australierin Gordi mit Bon Iver, The National und Troye Sivan auf Tour. Ihr drittes Album Like Plasticine erschien am 8. August 2025. Im Interview mit Gloria erzählt sie, wie sie es schafft, Pop mit emotionaler Tiefe zu verbinden und wie ihr Medizinstudium ihr Album beeinflusst hat. Dabei begeben wir uns nochmal in eine Zeit, die viele von uns schon wieder verdrängt haben: Die Pandemie. Für Gordi beginnt mit dem Albumrelease ein neues Kapitel:

"This chapter of the record where it starts to be heard and appreciated by other people and not just live in my dropbox somewhere is such a special kind of chapter and I'm so looking forward to playing shows around the world and seeing people really connect with it. I think as an artist I'm at a point where I'm really full of gratitude to be honest [because] those years of the pandemic where I couldn’t do what I love most has made me all the more grateful for being able to pick up where I left off." - Gordi
